Met Gala 2026 Illustrations
The Met Gala has always been one of my favourite moments to look forward to as an artist. It’s where fashion becomes more than clothing, it becomes storytelling, sculpture, movement, and art.
For the 2026 Met Gala, the theme was “Costume Art,” with the dress code “Fashion Is Art,” celebrating the connection between clothing, the body, and artistic expression.
I wanted to capture a few of my favourite looks through my own illustration style, elongated, elegant, and high fashion-inspired. Each piece is my interpretation of the original look, focusing on the silhouette, movement, texture, and feeling of the outfit rather than every tiny detail.
Here are some of the Met Gala 2026 looks I illustrated.

I actually painted these illustrations while I was on holiday in Bali, which made the whole process feel even more special. It was one of those quiet creative moments where I just allowed myself to enjoy painting without overthinking too much.
Honestly, I really enjoyed creating this collection, especially because of the theme itself. The word “art” already got me so excited, it felt like the perfect space where fashion, creativity, and illustration could all meet beautifully.
Personally, my favourite paintings from this series are Jordan Roth’s and Lisa’s looks… which probably explains why they’re placed both first and last in this blog, haha.
I hope you enjoyed this little collection as much as I enjoyed painting it. 🤍✨
