My Story
A traveling artist, painting love around the world
I'm Navia, a traveling Filipina artist who has had the honour of painting weddings across 14 countries and four continents, with much of my work based between Sydney and Philippines. Every destination has taught me something new about love, culture, and the art of celebration.
"What sets me apart isn't only artistic skill, but the way I make guests feel seen, welcomed, and special."
That's especially true at multicultural and international weddings, where I've learned that a portrait can say what words sometimes can't. Since 2024, I've also been personally training a small team of artists across Sydney, so every couple's celebration receives the same warmth and care I bring myself, even at 200-guest events.

The Live Guestbook
Your guests are illustrated as part of one continuous artwork, then sign next to their portrait to leave you a personal message. While I paint live, an assistant guides guests through the experience so everyone gets to take part smoothly.
The two of you are painted live during the ceremony, so your portrait becomes the centrepiece of the final framed keepsake — a single piece that holds your whole wedding day, guests and all.

Most couples book me 6–12 months out. Destination weddings often book a year ahead. If your date is closer, ask anyway — I sometimes have last-minute availability.

Yes, depending on the package and number of guests. For larger weddings, I can bring additional artists from my team so we can cover more guests smoothly and complete as many portraits as possible on the day.
For very large guest counts, any remaining portraits can also be finished after the event and delivered to you beautifully completed.

I'm available for destination events worldwide and locally.
Minimal travel fees may apply depending on where your event is being held. -
Travel, accommodation (2 nights minimum), and ground transport are added on top of the collection price. I fly economy unless the venue is more than 8 hours away, and book modest accommodation. Full transparent travel quote provided.

Absolutely! my Grand Package is built for events up to 200 pax. I bring a beautiful, low-footprint setup that works in any space, indoors or out.

It takes to paint each guest depends on the service selected, but on average, I spend about 3 to 7 minutes per guest depending on the complexity of their outfits.

Absolutely! You have two options:
– You can create your own template, or
– I can design one for you (with your approval 3 months before your event).Please note that template customization is considered an add-on service.

We're looking for artists who are creative, reliable, kind, comfortable working at events, and open to being trained in the Navia Mae Studio watercolor style.
Casual, part-time, event-based — flexible creative work alongside other commitments
No live event experience required, but you must be willing to learn, work with watercolor, and paint in a fast-paced environment
Most bookings take place on weekends and may include weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events
